This site is dedicated to the genealogy of the MILLET Family.
Starting with Jean François MILLET, father of  Louis MILLET born on the 23rd August 1864 in LAVAUR (81) France, who disappeared in North Africa around 1891 without a trace, leaving us very little information regarding his parents.
He married, on the 3rd of July 1889 in ORAN (Algeria),  Marie ALLEMAND born on the 9th of November 1859 in Ambernac (Charentes), daughter of Jean ALLEMAND, miller by profession, himself son of Pierre ALLEMAND born in 1806, our furthest ancestor.

We start our genealogy on a French ancestry lineage.
By the 4th generation we combine with an Italian descent family, the BUZZANKA.
Then in the 5th generation we link with a new lineage of English descent, the LINEKER who themselves combine with the LINGEN of German descent.

Our aim is to provide a place for our younger generations to review their ancestry and keep in touch with all the members of the family, who are today spread all over the world.

The other purpose is to allow visitors to this site to add valuable missing information to the family tree and to make themselves known if they think they are related to us in any way.
